Does the Feline Furniture Guard really work?

Absolutely! The protective sheets are designed to be thick enough to deter your cat's claws and the smooth surface of the sheets prevent your cat from getting a grip on them. Since it won't allow them to scratch the surface of the sheet, your cat will lose interest in scratching the furniture.

How do I set it up?

Installing it is super easy and only takes a few minutes. Simply cut the protective sheet to the desired size using a pair of scissors or use the full size roll. Peel off the protective paper and apply it to your desired location. Depending on the material that your furniture is made of, use the included twist pins to ensure an even stronger grip. My wife & I live full-time in a travel trailer with three cats. Two of them were using one of the couch arms as a territorial marker post. I wish I had found this product sooner. We adopted a cat a year ago who would only sharpen his claws on the corner of our couch, even though he had access to two cat trees which he ignored. It's not often that I spend so much time reading reviews, however, I recently purchased a new leather couch and a couple months prior to that, I became the proud momma to a very precious 2 month old kitten. So with that being said, I knew I needed to purchase a solution to his desire to SCRATCH my furniture before it arrived. I have a few cat scratching posts, which he uses often, however, I have seen him at times try to use the corner of the old couch. If you have a cat you should use these furniture protectors. Even though I have plenty of cat scratch boards and poles our cat still likes our furniture. I started to use this product and found the cat definitely stayed away from the protectors. We just bought new furniture and so I bought more protectors. They apply easily and can be trimmed just the way you like!

First of all, I have to commend the customer service. I received a personal message from representative Rachel after delivery asking if everything was to my satisfaction. In my case, I ordered a 12-pack of stickers, but only 8 arrived, I wrote back to Rachel who immediately offered to send an extra 12-pack free of charge, and followed up with me throughout the process. Now to the product: It is easy enough to apply, and the adhesion is perfect. The cat definitely avoids the areas of the couch where the stickers are, which was immediate. Now there remains to see how long we will have to keep the stickers on the couch to preserve this effect... Overall I would certainly recommend this product to owners of stubborn cats!

I haven't noticed any of our four cats going to the corner of our new recliner that they had been scratching on. I have used these on a fabric sofa and loveseat. I like that they can be removed without damaging the fabric on the furniture. I also like it because my cats like to claw things and they don’t even bother with the furniture and things now like they did before and I wanted to heat my furniture. Nice, not all chewed up right now I think I’m pretty well stocked on these cause this isn’t my first purchase, but if I needed more, I would buy these again. In fact they were out of stock for a while and I had to get something different elsewhere and I like these a lot better that’s it.

The Feline Furniture Guard delivers everything it promised. After buying a beautiful leather couch we decided we needed to take action. Our 3 cats used our old microfiber couch as their scratching post. Even with numerous scratching posts the couch took the brunt of their scratching. After scouring the internet for options Whiskertons had the best option. The Feline Guards have worked so well. I bought 2 and have plenty left. I placed it on the spots they tend to scratch. The kitties have not scratched my new couch once. I’m not sure if it’s the thick leather or the guards to be honest. They still scratch the old loveseat. And frankly I’m not in a hurry to replace it just so they have don’t start scratching my new couch. I’m so happy with the Feline Guards. You don’t even notice there’s something on the couch because they are clear. If you are on the fence buy them! They came quickly too. Forget all the other products that promise to protect your furniture. This one works. I was concerned about damaging the leather. These do not hurt the leather. I order one pack of vinyl protectors for corner of couch. The measurements were online, please check for yourself against your furniture. These were small for my couch and that is on me. They appear to be staying on and a deterrent for the kittens. I may need to cover my entire couch! We have not removed them and I have to trust there will be no residue as stated.
