My orange cat isn't into playtime no matter how hard I try. He was wild for this new toy for a few moments but then, as with most of his toys, he loses interest. But I thought it worth a shot.
The toy itself is very cool, and I can see how certain cats would go crazy for it. Only drawback I notice is that the replacement birds weigh the wire down much more than in the promo videos. It's only about 10 inches off the ground, whereas videos tend to show it much higher up.

My three love it! They often ask me to help them play with it but they have also learned to manipulate the wire with their mouths, heads and paws and make a game with it. The weighted base is great but it actually could be heavier. I put an ankle weight on it and it works great though.
